Description:

Grade assignments and enter grades into Canvas and assist professor as needed with class. Grade and assist the professor as needed, this may include: grading papers, classroom assistance, lab prep and/or lab demonstrations. May also be required to host group study sessions.The TA may assist with course-related field trips as a driver and/or co-leader, course-related planning and logistics, grading, and maintaining program equipment. Along with other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities:

  • Grade assignments, papers, and exams according to professor-provided rubrics.
  • Enter grades and attendance into the designated system (e.g., Canvas, Excel).
  • Provide timely feedback on student work.
  • Maintain accurate and organized grade records.
  • Communicate with the professor about student progress and grading concerns.

Qualifications:

  • Must have successfully completed a significant number of SUU Construction Management classes.
  • Preference given to Construction Management, Engineering Technology and Engineering majors.
  • Students must have successfully completed needed courses as determined by the Department with a satisfactory grade.
  • Have a GPA higher than 3.0 and be in good class standing.
